Podcast Addict52 years agoKBMcGOverall great content but the audio quality and volume could be better. For instance some eps (like part 2 of Ken Wishnia's story) have very low audio volume. I hope that in future all audio files can be boosted to an optimised preset level before being uploaded. That would be ideal. Also the intro music is too loud and drowns out the introduction by the editor. Please get some expert help for your audio...

I read the reviews about the dismal sound quality, but had to listen for myself. Couldn’t believe this podcast has lasted as long as it has with this level of “awfulness”. Also, just because you can WRITE, doesn’t mean you should narrate. Get some professionals in here people. Sorry, but I can’t listen to this.

I've subscribed to this podcast for years, but I'm at the point of cancelling the subscription, because I rarely can listen to the stories to the end. Usually it is the poor audio quality that does me in, but sometimes it's also the voice of the narrator. Not all writers are born with pleasant reading voices.

As a huge fan of Old Time Radio, I love the Alfred Hitchcock Mystery Magazine podcast for providing the same kind of story-telling. They are not necessarily "full cast" reader's theater productions, but outstanding plots often read by the authors themselves (which is always an extra treat) give me the same kind of thrill that my old time "Suspense" and "Richard Diamond" radio shows do. Great for listening to while jogging, commuting, or hiding under the blankets!
