  • Good information but it’s okay to question this administration.

I started listening podcast so I had some clarity what is happening and Chip cannot speak ill of this administration. The guests were saying this is “enough all ready” and Chip stumbles all over and says we have to sit and wait… no we can speak out! We can hold feet to the fire. You have so many ears and they can write congress and say, “if you do this, we will not support you and one seat changes power. We don’t want that. So stop!”

But talk about “have fun” but Chip you are gonna have to admi... more

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

AgriTalk-March 16, 2026
Q: What were the priorities discussed during the lawmakers' fly-in to Washington?
Members presented real-world insights to lawmakers on fertilizer supply, pesticide issues, transportation, energy, and regulatory uncertainty, aiming to influence the farm bill and related policies.
AgriTalk-March 19, 2026
Q: What is the current impact of energy markets on agriculture and biofuels?
Crude oil and distillate prices are driving costs and margins across transport, inputs, and biofuels. Higher energy prices boost ethanol margins in some contexts but strain farmers with input costs; policy developments around E15 and RVOs will significantly shape future profitability.
AgriTalk-March 5, 2026
Q: What is the status of binding trade agreements with foreign partners and how might Congress engage with them?
Eight binding agreements exist with partners like Malaysia, Cambodia, El Salvador, Guatemala, Argentina, Bangladesh, Taiwan, and Indonesia; Congress could codify enforcement, though current agreements are enforceable under the administration.
AgriTalk-March 5, 2026
Q: What does nationwide availability of E-15 year round mean for overall ethanol demand?
It would likely boost overall ethanol demand modestly and provide flexibility in meeting mandates, though it is not a silver bullet and must be evaluated alongside the RVO and regulatory assumptions.
AgriTalk-March 2, 2026
Q: What kind of fallout should the markets expect from this?
There will be big challenges for getting shipping through the Strait of Hormuz.
