I started listening podcast so I had some clarity what is happening and Chip cannot speak ill of this administration. The guests were saying this is “enough all ready” and Chip stumbles all over and says we have to sit and wait… no we can speak out! We can hold feet to the fire. You have so many ears and they can write congress and say, “if you do this, we will not support you and one seat changes power. We don’t want that. So stop!”

But talk about “have fun” but Chip you are gonna have to admi... more

AgriTalk-June 12, 2026 AM
Q: What are the main sticking points in the USMCA discussions right now?
The hosts and guests point to the need for quicker dispute resolution, dairy and specialty crop considerations, and a more durable agreement that can survive political cycles, with a sense that some tweaks are needed before a final deal.
AgriTalk-June 11, 2026 AM
Q: What is the current state of USMCA implementation and how are we tracking performance with our trading partners?
The Undersecretary described ongoing review mechanisms ensuring partner compliance, highlighted real gains in market access, and stressed that nine new trade agreements and several framework agreements have moved towards implementation, with emphasis on keeping commitments and expanding opportunities for US producers.
AgriTalk-May 28, 2026 AM
Q: Okay, what's the timeline? How much time do we have to do for the evaluation?
There is a window through August 31st, starting June 1st, giving producers about three months to review and verify their base acre data; if the numbers align, sign-off is straightforward, but any discrepancies will require careful checking.
AgriTalk-May 27, 2026 AM
Q: What's your view on E-15 and its potential impact on farmers and the ag economy?
Brad believes E-15 will eventually be approved, but acknowledges political and economic transitions mean uncertain timing, while recognizing the environmental and economic benefits of using higher ethanol blends.
AgriTalk-May 27, 2026 AM
Q: Are you ready to grow beans on beans given the fertilizer constraints?
Tim responds that they did prepay for fertilizer and plan to space applications, potentially adding liquid P and K later, while avoiding over-spending and adjusting timing to stretch fertilizer dollars.
