  • Fairer but still republican

I like this podcast the hosts try to be fairer than most podcast but their republican bias is still clearly there.

  • Good information but it’s okay to question this administration.

I started listening podcast so I had some clarity what is happening and Chip cannot speak ill of this administration. The guests were saying this is “enough all ready” and Chip stumbles all over and says we have to sit and wait… no we can speak out! We can hold feet to the fire. You have so many ears and they can write congress and say, “if you do this, we will not support you and one seat changes power. We don’t want that. So stop!”

But talk about “have fun” but Chip you are gonna have to admi... more

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

AgriTalk-July 14, 2026 AM
Q: What changes from the existing H2A law are being proposed?
The proposal removes the seasonal designation, defines temporary as under 350 days per year, and allows renewal up to three years, creating year‑round access for dairy, greenhouse, livestock operations and some processing.
AgriTalk-July 6, 2026 AM
Q: What is the status of USMCA and why is year-to-year renewal viewed as less stable by farmers?
USMCA renewal discussions are ongoing with concerns about seasonality issues and dairy tariff rate quotas; year-to-year renewals reduce long-term market stability, which makes planning harder for farmers and supply chains.
AgriTalk-July 6, 2026 AM
Q: What is driving the current uptick in grain prices after the 4th of July holiday?
A combination of weather-market dynamics in Europe, ongoing trade signals with China, and improving sentiment on soybeans and corn are contributing to a stronger backdrop, with traders awaiting follow-through and hedging opportunities.
AgriTalk-July 15, 2026 AM
Q: What are the potential changes to the H-2A program and who would benefit the most?
The changes would remove the seasonality requirement, allow longer temporary contracts (up to 350 days within a year, three-year limit), and broaden access for dairies and hog producers, making the program more workable and reliable across the year.
AgriTalk-July 2, 2026 AM
Q: What is the rationale behind suspending the Moroccan phosphate duties now?
The suspension is framed as a move to increase domestic fertilizer supply in a time of high demand, reduce costs for farmers, and ensure timely access to inputs ahead of the fall season, while Morocco remains a longstanding ally.
