  • Love this podcast - but need more diverse voices

Hello - I love this podcast and have been a fan since day one - Sophie is obviously a bit of a genius and has really has helped me work out what I need to age well. Love the chemistry with Fiona too. However as a Black woman it would be great to hear from some black aging and skin experts especially as so much of their knowledge applies to everyone. One suggestion is Dija Ayodele of Black Skin Directory. Thank you

Q: What does a good day look and feel like for you? What are the good habits and protocols that you aim for, not just to do with food and nutrition here, but your general approach to health and longevity?
Milli describes prioritizing sleep, time in nature, creative work, and low-obsession with health, focusing on enjoyment of food and overall well-being rather than extreme routines.
The shocking ways in which ultra processed foods impact women - with Milli Hill
Q: But the question is, we can't not talk about gut health. Are you as obsessed with gut health as we are on this podcast?
Milli explains she aims for a balanced approach to gut health, prioritizing a positive relationship with food, minimal obsession, and practical habits like including plants and oily fish in the diet.
The shocking ways in which ultra processed foods impact women - with Milli Hill
Q: Perhaps this is a slight curveball question, but there's been a lot of talk recently around celebrities going ultra thin, almost as if we're headed back to the Kate Moss 90s era. What do you think about Ozempic and other GLP ones? And marketing claims directed at women on many of these ultra processed packaged foods?
Milli discusses the social pressures on women to stay slim, critiques the marketing strategies behind GLP-1 weight loss drugs and processed foods, and emphasizes the need for broader cultural and policy changes rather than placing the burden on individual women.
Hyperbaric oxygen and why people are using it - from serious disease to chronic insomnia – with Alan Trim
Q: How many sessions are typically needed for meaningful benefits?
For general well-being, a dense block of 40–60 sessions is often recommended, with five to six sessions per week; for chronic conditions, longer protocols (30–60 sessions, sometimes more) are used, tailored to the individual.
