Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Episode 59 - Alex Leigh
Q: How has sobriety changed your life beyond just stopping drinking?
Sobriety gave me back trust in myself, clarity, and the ability to be present for my family and friends; it also opened up opportunities to help others, build a healthier life, and pursue meaningful goals like sobriety coaching and community work.
Episode 59 - Alex Leigh
Q: What was the turning point that led you to seek help?
A culminating night of extreme drinking and a crushing hangover, followed by a moment of shame and resolve, led me to seek help through AA; realizing I couldn't do it alone and deciding to take the first step toward recovery was the turning point.
Episode 59 - Alex Leigh
Q: When did the decline start to accelerate for you, and what pushed you to keep going despite warning signs?
The decline accelerated once I moved to London and started living the high-life; the combination of fame, a lack of real guidance, and peer pressure around drugs and alcohol made it feel normal to keep going, even as I knew it was harming me. The real push to keep going was fear of losing work and the belief that this was the only way to stay on top.
Episode 61 - Natalie
Q: What early experiences with alcohol shaped your relationship with drinking later on?
Natalie describes growing up around her Croatian family's traditional alcohol use, including wine-making, which normalised drinking from a young age and contributed to an early curiosity and normalization of alcohol.
Episode 66 - Nikki Pears
Q: How did your drinking start and what were the early signals?
Nikki describes early social anxiety and a feeling of not fitting in, with alcohol slowly becoming the tool that helped her feel accepted and confident, ultimately spiraling into daily dependence.
