  • So relatable!

I love this podcast and the interesting topics Brandy and Shenandoah talk about. Especially episode 12, with Sue Downey, as I am also part of the LGBTQ+ community and have struggled with this specific work/life balance in the past. I actually have experienced the hypothetical scenario Shenandoah mentions towards the end of the episode- my employer didn’t know I was queer and during a conversation he expressed that he would never hire a lesbian to care for his daughters. • So FUNNY!!

I love Brandi and Shenandoah’s sense of humor and wittiness. They are so fun to listen to and laugh with!

I’m all about listening to podcasts to learn how to be the best nanny I can, but why not laugh a little too? They bring the humor for sure. It’s as if I’m sitting with some best friends just hanging out.

I can’t wait to hear more!

    Thanks Adventure Nannies!!

Advocating for contracts means ensuring that nannies have equitable standards of pay, health care, and benefits to elevate the profession.
Love Builds Safety: Nurturing Trust in Families and Communities with Joss Cambridge-Simmons
Q: Is there anything that you do as a ritual or as a routine that nannies can take away and do themselves to help them come into a space every day and work with that calm and love-led approach?
I have a playlist on Spotify called Mornings Off Of Gratitude that helps me start my day with positive vibes. It's important to practice self-care and be present for yourself to better care for others.
Love Builds Safety: Nurturing Trust in Families and Communities with Joss Cambridge-Simmons
