I so appreciate this podcast for normalizing and destigmatizing people’s addiction stories. It always helps me to hear from people who have been on the same journey as me. I definitely recommend listening.

We have all had a drink and tried some drug at some point. But the addiction part of it is something else. It’s not just drugs and alcohol either. I love listening to the people’s stories and the insights they have about themselves and the roots of their addiction. Many have been through hell and are trying so hard. Anyone on a journey of self-healing, whether living with an addiction (are we all not addicted to something?) or not, is going through the same process of understanding the causes of trauma and coping mechanisms.
Hands down my favourite recovery play list nick does a great job at keeping the conversation going with recovering and active addicts. Looking forward every week to hearing many more peoples stories x
I am hooked on this podcast and I am eager for more. Thank you for shedding light on the subject of addiction.
