I really enjoy the discussions of comics and other pop culture, with an occasional local restaurant recommendation. It is apparent how much these people enjoy working together. There’s only one problem - I often find myself adding yet another series to my pull list as a result of their banter. Thanks for the pod and keep up the great work!
I’m so trilled to have discovered the show just as it came back from a hiatus. I discovered the existence of the shop through the documentary and further appreciated it while listen to “Lord Retails” three part series in the accompanying podcast. Sadly I live to far a way to make this my shop but the podcast is the next best thing. Keep the episodes coming!
Acme is one of the very best around, and it’s always a treat to hear from Lord Retail & co. about what’s going on in the wild, wonderful world of the comic shop.
What can I say this podcast brings the Store fandom to your ears ! I feel like I’m in the store hearing these guys talk about comics ,artists and writers , just like when I’m in the store . They fire on all cylinders all the time . Information on all new events and comics that are going to happen and are happening. Keep it up this is a great podcast for comic collectors and people who are the causal collectors.
I can’t get to the Acme Comics store as much as I like, but it’s great hearing some of the behind the scenes details in running a comic book store. I’ll admit I love hearing some of the drama going on and the highs and lows of Lord Retail and the crew! As an aspiring comic book creator this is all valuable (and entertaining) information.
