What a ride! I listened to the whole show, and it doesn’t miss a beat. Both women are so interesting and Adrien does such a phenomenal job at capturing them. Listen to the ending, it is so tender and reverent. 10 out of 10

  • Adrien is a genius

I’m biased because I love women, history, and traveling, but this is easily one of my favorite podcasts. The host’s dedication to creating every sound and texture for the listener is deeply comforting. There are actors providing voices and context, foley sounds, score and time/location-appropriate music…not to mention Adrien’s skill as a narrator and host herself. It’s like reading a great book, but it’s happening to your ears. Also the story itself, which is TRUE?!? is incredible. Obsessed.

  • 2 Impressive Women as Role Models

While pedaling through the world I listen to the story of those brave and different women. In some of their experiences while travelling sound familiar to what I overcame in my travels - I feel them. Nicely told story. I am happy I learned about Nelly and Liz and their adventures, especially at a time when travelling for women was harder and therefore their endeavor even more impressive!
