I’m so disappointed that Nicole is not present in recent episodes. Her warm intelligence and compassion are missed. She brought the show to life.
I’m so grateful I found this podcast with Charlie and Nicole. I’m working my way through all of them. Whether you know a lot about DBT or are new to the topic, this podcast is a gift. You can learn about DBT from Dr. Charlie Swenson, a master therapist. His conversations and role plays with Nicole enrich the learning. I especially loved the role the “session” when Nicole played a patient struggling with narcissism. Thank you for this amazing opportunity to learn and grow.
I really love Nicole’s voice and perspective on the show, my favorite episode by far is Identity Grammar. Listening made me feel seen and understood in a ways nothing else ever has.
Stimulating & Fascinating! Charlie & Nicole explore topics that we consciously or subconsciously struggle with every day- helping to define and refine these thoughts. I come away from the episodes with a greater understanding of self and a greater understanding of those around me.
enjoying the series about narcissism however i would remind that being in a relationship with a narcissist can be very difficult and damaging and i wouldn’t want to diminish these experiences and put responsibility on one who chooses to leave such a relationship - i am learning a lot, thank you
