是台灣公民的小卉，她父親是在台灣逾期居留三十多年的馬來西亞人老陳，多年來之所以不離開，是因為想看著女兒長大。
當今年初老陳向家人想回家鄉的心願後，小卉開始著手協助父親的回家。
對小卉來說，雖然最終父女會分開，但如果能彼此各過個的生活，對待在台灣三十多年無法回家鄉的父親來說，或許也是一種圓滿。
