Relatively new to this podcast but enjoying it! I always appreciate those who appreciate a-ha. I’ll keep listening —and I’ll look for you on Facebook. If you’re on Bluesky, follow me @billcanacci
For the record, my favorite Magne song on his new album is “you won (and then some).” Just love the beat and his voice. I would not put “Teo’s Theme” last. And I will share your Lennon/Beatles references with my brother — a huge fan of the Fab 4.
Love love love this podcast - I was a teenage A-ha obsessive - this podcast has me re listening, discovering what I’ve missed & researching everything !
Love the chat & the obsession ! 🤩
These guys are so knowledgeable about the band and are excellent to listen to. I’ve been a fan of a-ha from the early days (older sister a huge fan in the 80’s) and I’ve come back to them again more recently and enjoyed more of their later years music. I had tended to ignore most songs after East of the Sun West of the Moon… criminal I know!

Yet another brilliant episode from the guys. As an avid a-ha (and Morten Harket) fan, this episode was a revelation. I’ve been a fan of all of Morten’s English language output, but this episode has introduced me some of his Norwegian music which I’ve, perhaps unfairly, overlooked in the past. So thanks to this list I can now go back and explore some hidden Jim’s...sorry GEMS 😂
Really enjoyed these. Even if I did disagree vehemently!! 😀. Was shocked the song True North was ranked so low 😱. Yet the appalling Make Me Understand was rated so highly. That one is up there with Touchy for me. Horrible.
Apart from that, great podcast. 5 stars.
