Every other week, hosts Bryan and Dave White, hosts of the Bring Me The Axe! horror podcast, dive deep into the nearly forgotten world of ninjas, breakdancers, skateboarders, action hero knockoffs, and Cold War paranoia that emb... more

I checked this out because I knew Dave 20 years ago in NH. . It became a weekly listen and I am slowly going back through the archives. Dave and Bryan entertaining and informative. It’s a fun listen. Thanks guys.
The Rocky Horror Picture Show episode got me hooked, and I look forward to new episodes of this or their other pod, Bring Me the Axe, every Monday. I enjoy all aspects of this podcast and listen even if I have not seen the film. They have inspired me to see films I might not have heard of otherwise like Killer Condom -which was hilarious ! Their banter is so entertaining, it makes the episode complete. Sorry Dave, I don’t have a great stew recipe to share….I’ll have to work on that.
I love listening to Bryan and David White talk about movies. I love both of their podcast, 99CR and Bring Me The Axe!
Love listening to the break down these movies! They give them context to when they were made, and do some top notch imitations!
I’m a big fan of their horror podcast, Bring Me the Axe, so I was really happy when they announced this new show. So far, I’m loving it!

This show focuses on nostalgic, low-budget action, sci-fi, and comedy films from the 1980s and early 1990s, with a humorous, opinionated breakdown of production chaos, cultural context, and genre conventions. Episodes thread together behind-the-scenes anecdotes, campy set pieces, and the era's larger trends (video-store excess, corporate oddities, and pop culture crossovers) to celebrate—and critique—how these films reflected and shaped the decade's attitudes. A hallmark is the hosts' banter, deep film knowledge, and a penchant for connecting niche movies to broader cultural themes, making it entertaining for cult-film enthusiasts and nostalgia seekers alike.
