今天我們要講兩則《孟子》：「求其放心」與「反求諸己」。
這兩則篇幅都不長，但很能看出孟子思想裡一個重要特色：仁不是靜靜放在心裡的東西，而是一條需要不斷找回、不斷修正、不斷前進的道路。
放到現在來看，這其實也很呼應 SEL 社會情緒學習：能不能覺察自己的狀態、理解行動的結果，並且重新調整方向。
如果一個人不懂得「求其放心」，也不願意「反求諸己」，那他可能不是沒有仁心，而是停下來了。

今天我們要講《孟子》：「得其民斯得天下」。
這一篇其實可以和〈王道之始〉放在一起看：一位君王到底要怎麼治理，才真的能得到天下？👑
孟子的答案看起來很簡單：得天下，要先得人民；得人民，要先得民心。
可是民心不是靠口號喊出來的，也不是等到國家快出問題了才臨時抱佛腳。做與不做，差別可能就是堯舜與桀紂的距離。📚
更麻煩的是，當時的諸侯多半只想求快、求眼前效果，卻不願意花時間經營仁政。但真正能救命的東西，不是病重時才開始找，而是平常就要累積。🌿

「人皆有不忍人之心」，這句話我們很常聽到，但到底什麼是「不忍人之心」？
如果只是看到別人受苦，心裡覺得不忍，這樣就夠了嗎？🤔
孟子要談的，其實不只是個人修養，而是從人的本心一路推到政治實踐：先王正是因為有不忍人之心，才能行不忍人之政。
這篇文章最有意思的地方在於，孟子一方面說「人皆有」，表示這顆心具有普遍性；另一方面又提醒我們，這顆心不一定會自然外顯。它可能被名聲、利益、欲望遮住，也可能因為我們一句「我做不到」而停在原地。
