曾任雜誌、書籍編輯的城市女子亮晶晶，因喜愛植物多年前許願想到鄉下生活，因緣際會來到苗栗苑裡，深受這裡的景緻和人情吸引，後來真的如願在此生活。怕自己在鄉下過得太舒適，萌生了開書店的念頭，初時只想賣外文精裝書，漸漸因來客的需求，再結合個人喜好，逐步調整店內空間、選書和活動類型，「移地讀書會」、「走走山植物踏查團」都是淺山綠的招牌特色活動。因打破自己設定的界線，接受各種可能，雖偏離原先預想路線，但也有了更多交流的機會和意外的收穫。

戲劇是群體的作品，一部戲需要許多幕前幕後的工作人員，融合眾人的能力、素養、品味，加上許多外在因素推動之下完成。後期製片是在台灣戲劇在近年串流平台、外國資金進入市場，影集的製作成本變高、類型變多、操作變複雜而需要專門人員負責。摸清楚各播出平台的規範、喜好、規格之外，跟合作的導演、製片、各技術部門都要花很長的時間溝通協調，以確保大家要去的方向一致。

起點書房位於竹南火車站旁的藝文空間「中山168」裡，交通便利、空間舒適。開書店前的梵音原本就喜歡逛書店，起點書房粉專前身是他在卸下繁忙的業務工作之後，到處探訪書店的紀錄。後來因獲得補助而開設第一個實體空間，原先以為開在學校周邊、又跟補習班結合，能吸引親子客群，但因為自己之前沒有書店的相關經驗，對相應客群喜好還不熟悉，成效不如預期之下感到挫折，又遇上疫情打擊和自己的低潮期，選擇暫時最低限度維持書店營運。搬到中山168這個空間，在停下腳步審視自己的期間，摸索想成為怎麼樣的書店。也因新空間有更多和在地... more
外景拍攝比起攝影棚內作業，多了許多不確定的因素，對從業人員來說內外壓力頗大，但刺激狀況多、需要隨時應變的外景卻是Joan喜歡的工作。與拍攝者建立互相信任的關係，和鏡頭下的受訪者同悲同喜，付出真心交陪的外景生活，收穫許多意想不到的人情溫暖、和各地物資物產的空投餵食。因拍攝部落長老的一句話，想起家鄉、母語和母親，捨不得鏡頭下的人，也造就有溫度的影片成果，建立與人的連結網絡。縱使槍林彈雨（誇飾）、流血流汗（寫實）、經費吃緊、時間壓縮、各種崩潰，外景人生終不悔。
