It helped me and my wife reflect a lot about how best to support our unborn DC baby. Thank you so much!
Great show. I’m donor conceived and it hasn’t been easy on this path of discovery. It’s nice to hear other people who are going through the same process.
I am a sperm donor and currently writing my personal statement that my biological children may read one day, now I know how most of DC children feel, this podcast has helped me massively on how to word my statement which is so delicate and important. I’d hate the people born from my donation to think I would ever reject them in the future if they wanted a relationship. My door would always be open if they wanted to get to know me and I would want them to know that. more
I came to this podcast because I used a sperm donor to conceive my infant son and I wanted to better understand what his experience might be growing up. I stayed for the gripping documentary style story telling. This is an incredible podcast to listen to even if you’ve never met a donor conceived person - everyone I’ve recommended it to has thanked me. It’s a beautiful piece of journalism which highlights voices so often overlooked and it’s a must listen
My Wife and I have a Daughter who is donor conceived & we plan on having more children through the same donor. I am glad that there are podcasts like this that I hope will help them feel like they are not alone & hopefully as they get older this will be more ‘normal’. It sounds like things are moving in that direction anyway as we already have so much information to provide her with, photo’s, family medical history etc before she turns 18. more
