I believe that practicing yoga is not cultural appropriation, as this is a practice, a journey, a self improvement matter. I’ve never felt so compelled to leave a review than after listening to todays episode #114 A Call To Ahimsa and a Prayer For Peace in Ukrainian. I’ve also never felt so proud to call Kino my teacher. Although we’ve only met in person one time I knew that her gentle yet firm way of teaching worked for me. As a AVY practicing for a bit more than 20 years it is really a delightful experience to hear such a strong practitioner as Kino sharing her experience with this spiritual practice. Truly an inspiration for a devoted practitioner. Thank you Kino ! Lovely episodes.
Kino is a great interviewer and chooses wonderful people to talk with. I’m always so glad I took the time to listen. The dharma talks however are a little disconcerting as she slides into broken English. This seems unusual since her interviews are in a beautiful, conversational, energetic voice. For this reason I’m having trouble recommending the podcast to others. Kino, I would love it if you could work through this with friends and colleagues you trust.
