很多人以為情深是一種美德，是一種珍貴的情感，是人之所以為人的溫度與證明，但如果我們細細觀察，會發現多數所謂的情深，其實是建立在「我與你」的對立之上，是一種帶有佔有、依附與不願失去的心理結構，而這種結構本身，就已經種下了痛苦的因，因為只要有「我在乎你」，就一定會伴隨著「我害怕失去你」，而只要有害怕，就不可能真正自在，所以情深如果沒有被看清楚，很容易變成一種包裝過的執著，看起來溫柔，實際上卻是束縛，甚至在修行的路上，成為最難突破的一道關卡。
