本集的藝術任意門將透過兩位在高雄讀書的學生相互分享自身對高雄獎與國外的藝術作品的認識與看法，使聽眾了解什麼是高雄獎和高雄獎對這片土地有何意義，以及國外的藝術品是否也能使人民有所啟發。而透過外國學生與本地學生這樣的角色設定，不僅能更貼近一般民眾的日常，也能感受到藝術帶給人的感受是不限於國家的。除此之外，藉由不同文化的學生進行交流得出的想法，也可以賦予藝術不同的面貌與意義。
