The rhythm of the show is an acquired taste, with the Summer of the Monkeys drops, throwback clips, commercials, songs, trailers, etc, but once you become accustomed to it , it will feel like you’re in on the inside joke. Great taste in the music that is sprinkled throughout the episodes, Beyond the Gray Sky subtle volume rise was cool.
Great listen while you’re mowing.
Funny. Crazy. Immature. Often off topic. These are all reasons why we (and yes, i am speaking for every single person out there) love nostalgic podcasts. I couldn't tell you how many hours I've spent listening, laughing, and then rewiniding to re-listen and re-laugh. Highest of recommends.
Come for the pop culture chat, stay for Brimley drops
This is a terrible show and I can't recommend it until Derek concedes to a Bill Bellamy month. Five stars. - Patron Mike
Found myself listening to the Mousercise episode (thanks Quip) and stuck around to enjoy the random ramblings of Derek Hoover and his mates. A hoot!
