The pinnacle of infotainment! Crazy stuff you didn’t know about the greatest movies and music of the 80’s, 90’s, and beyond. Hilarity ensues as a research professor and a pop culture savant are pitted against each other in a debate to determine what entertainment icons of film, music, and games are the best of the best of Generation X. www.thesurelypodcast.com/

This review is a long time coming. I have been a long time listener and love this show!! Jason and Dee have great chemistry and they do great research for their shows. I prefer the film episodes to the music, but I always learn more from the music episodes! Case in point: the Hotel California episode. Great show and highly recommended.
This pod keeps me interested every second. Love the content and knowledge gained from this. This has added so many interesting facts to my pop culture obsessed mind.
I discovered this pod after seeing Tom Keifer of Cinderella perform and searched for a podcast to hear all about his new album I was so excited to find a review and all the backstories and tidbits from their album from the ‘80s. I enjoy the back n forth from the hosts and upbeat and sometimes emotional (“I got goosebumps”) views on music and movies. Great work Guys!!!
My favorite podcast! I look forward to every episode! The guys pick great topics, provide interesting information (and a heck of a lot of it), while not taking themselves too serious (hence the title!). They travel down all kinds of wormholes just like you do when having discussions with your friends. The episodes aren’t too long so you can usually listen to a full show without having to stop then pick it up again.
Well produced & researched, great topic choices and love the interesting facts. One of my favourite pods.
