Is this written and read by AI?? I just listened to the Vimy Ridge episode and it was an incredibly painful listen. Very very repetitive. The reader doesn’t sound human. Could’ve been a 10 minute episode. Definitely avoid this podcast.
Sorry, I know this is given away free and thats lovely and it's very mean to give this 1 star and an awful review but I found the Lusitania episode just absolutely cringe worthy to listen to.
I can't tell if it's an AI voice or not but whatever it is that narration is all over the place with pronunciations different from one sentence to the next in a ridiculous speaking tone.

Toooo many times repeating the name of the plan. Hope other episodes are better
Could let finish the first episode. It was very repetitive, saying the same thing, and very little substance. It’s not story telling it’s just repeating the same thing wjth differnt words.
I felt like I was losing my mind listening to the first episode. The amount of repetition and the monotone voice has me wacked out and I’m now wearing a tinfoil hat thinking this is a generic story created by chat gpt and narrated with some stock AI voice. Mega weird. I’m outta here.
