I just finished episode 247 and it is FULL of gold!! Gillian and Mallory share so many practical tips about avoiding burnout while growing a business! Three tips that really stood out to me were building in boredom, giving myself space to experiment and experience variety in each business and thinking of possible exit strategies! I’m really thrown off by this podcast. The speaker comes off as quite arrogant - in her interview with Jenny Hoyos there were a couple times where she sort of bullied Jenny into agreeing with her, making comparisons between her channel and Jenny’s, etc. At one point, Jenny was talking in essence about how she doesn’t believe the algorithm “helps” her content, but rather that she’s mastered it. Decent content for new solopreneurs but Gillian does not have enterprise or multi-million dollar experience. Very likable.
However she sounds like she has a perpetual frog in her throat, like she needs to clear her throat. It is distracting for a podcast and makes me clear my own throat. Wish she would fix this.
