  • Lacks depth

If you have to keep saying you’re the “#1 trading podcast and the fastest growing” that doesn’t make it true.

But the real issue is a lot of heavy hitters are brought onto the show only to be asked very generic questions that don’t dig deep into their experiences.

The interview with the CEO IG North America could’ve shed so much led into the retail brokerage industry.

Other interviews, some generic question on “what are your thoughts of ICT, SMC, etc.” Always comes up and you get responses ... more

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

World’s Best Trader: The $300 Million Trade (George Soros Copied Him)
Q: Why did you choose such a complex setup instead of a simpler strategy?
Because the market was highly concentrated and the liquidity was insufficient to move with a simple play. A layered approach using options allowed me to maintain upside, control risk, and exploit the expected squeeze from a broadly long position, especially when banks and traders were all on one side.
World’s Best Trader: The $300 Million Trade (George Soros Copied Him)
Q: Can you walk us through that $300 million trade that you took that essentially broke the Bank of New Zealand?
The context was a year of profit and liquidity needs; I built a position in Kiwi by selling it progressively, learned from banks about others' positions, and then created a massive option-based structure to push the market toward a planned outcome while hedging risk. The trade was anchored by an accurate read of prevailing long positioning and a calculated use of calls and puts to force a move, with a staged exit that kept losses contained.
The Man Who Outsmarted 90% Of Traders, And Became A US Investing Champion
Q: How do you handle the emotional side of trading and stay disciplined?
He describes a routine of meticulous record-keeping, journaling, and self-questioning about why he makes decisions. He stresses the importance of staying present, avoiding revenge trading, and using data to guide rather than substitute for disciplined execution.
The Man Who Outsmarted 90% Of Traders, And Became A US Investing Champion
Q: What was the turning point that finally allowed you to transition from poker to trading successfully?
The guest explains that getting serious about risk management, learning to size into opportunities, and maintaining consistent drawdown control during the late years of his trading career were pivotal. He also emphasizes the mindset shift from hunting for big single wins to building a steady process that compounds over time.
Auction Market Theory Trader Reveals How Markets Actually Work (Must Watch)
Q: What is edge really, and how do you define it beyond common trading lore?
Edge is a multi-layer concept: a repeatable, mechanical cause-and-effect pattern; a defendable risk framework; and the ability to execute that framework consistently. It's not discipline or a single setup; it's understanding who's participating, what incentives they have, and what constraints drive their actions. The strongest edges rely on predicting a spectrum of possible outcomes rather than a single forecast, and they must have an expiration as market conditions change.
