  • Invaluable Resource for an Aspiring Trader

I’ve so far listened to the first 13 episodes of the show, but have already learned so much valuable information from seasoned traders. I began learning about trading last month, and one of the most value-packed of the learning resources I’ve found so far has been this podcast. Few other places seem to offer the kind of access to real trading knowledge offered here for free. Highly recommend for any aspiring traders such as myself, but I’m positive value can be found here by traders with years o... more

  • Great podcast. But Tessa has to

If it wasn’t for the fast forward button I would not be able to make it through this podcast. Tessa makes this almost unbearable to listen.

  • Tessa Dao needs to level up

Since host and owner Tessa Dao bought the podcast, it’s gone downhill. Tessa, if you’re reading this, here are the things you NEED TO DO to bring the podcast to its former glory: 1. First and foremost, properly mix the sound levels on your episodes. It’s amateur hour to hear your pianissimo voice over commercial and then cut to Aaron Fifield’s booming voice. Use a mixer or hiere one so I don’t have to keep my hand on the volume knob to adjust in real time. Seriously. 2. Take a voice training cla... more

  • Skip Tessa

Great podcast series but clueless and babbling Tessa is a real drawback. Sorry to say.

  • Interviews are great but the preamble at the start of each show is terrible

Move the female’s rambling monologue to the end of the show not the start. It’s turning a lot of people off because nothing is being said and it doesn’t make sense to reference a bunch of other episodes when we’re about to listen to an episode.

Aside from that the questions and quality of guests are really good

312 · Vincent Bruzzese - Battling Irrational Markets - and the Battle Within
Q: What is your bread and butter trading strategy?
The market comes first, followed by analyzing relative strength of stocks to the market and confirming with technical indicators.
312 · Vincent Bruzzese - Battling Irrational Markets - and the Battle Within
Q: What really turned your trading around from losing to becoming profitable? Was it more the strategy or more the mindset or just the time in the market experience?
I'd say about 90% mindset. It was one realizing one gambling with gambling. A lot of times, it was simply saying it out loud, I'm gambling, not trying to justify a trade that's clearly a gamble.
311 · Christian Carreon - Patience Inside the Box: The Calm Before the Break
Q: Can you briefly describe your box strategy?
Christian explains the evolution of his box strategy and how he's adapted it to incorporate tighter risk management.
311 · Christian Carreon - Patience Inside the Box: The Calm Before the Break
Q: What has changed since the last time we spoke?
Christian discusses receiving a kidney transplant and how it has positively impacted his trading and health.
308 · Jack Schwager and Emanuel Balarie - Market Wizards, Measured: Inside the Criteria, Craft, and Grit
Q: Why do you think many new traders can't treat trading like a job?
Many new traders don't appreciate the commitment necessary to succeed, treating trading more like a hobby than an obsession.
