  • NELL

Nell Frizzell hating on birthday cake, telling her children on their birthdays about HER labour including all her pain and suffering with their birth journey is completely self absorbed and selfish, yet wants her family to give her a sleep in on her birthday! Her take on a person being completely forgotten by her husband and children on her birthday is very telling.

I hope Anita and Poorna had a coffee after this interview with delicious cake!🍰 🧁

  • Excellent coverage - audio needs improvement

I’ve loved WH for years and regularly listen to the weekend edition. Recently the audio has declined however and is only coming through one headphone - it’s the only podcast that does it - and renders it inaudible.

  • Be quiet Lula

Could be a great show but Lula seems unable to run a competent interview. Please help her learn to be quiet and listen to her interviewee. She jumps to conclusions, won’t allow people to explain even very complex subjects. She comes across as being terribly rude and self obsessed; she’s quite off putting and not a great listen

  • Do Better

Nuala McGovern wasn’t neutral when interviewing Helen Joyce on 14 May 2025. She was definitely coming down on the side of men who identify as trans women. Was it BBC bias or her own? Do better Women’s Hour.

Q: How does V100 identify who is on the list and why focus on those individuals?
V100 prioritizes based on past offenses, repeated offender indicators, and the broader risk they pose; the aim is to be proactive by focusing on the small subset (top of the 60,000) who cause the most harm and to disrupt their offending through various legal tools.
AI images and children, Emergency contraception, Charlotte Edwardes
Q: What are the main risks of AI-generated imagery of children?
Experts highlight that AI can create manipulatively realistic images and videos from ordinary photos, potentially nudifying children, which is illegal and dangerous; the problem is large and requires broad safeguards and regulation.
Maternity care, Joanna Cherry, Heavy periods
Q: What are the key findings expected from the Nottingham review and how might they affect care across England?
The discussion suggests that the review will address leadership accountability and staffing, with expectations for improvements in frontline care and a smarter, more coordinated regulatory response; leaders are under pressure to implement recommendations promptly rather than letting them sit on a shelf.
