This podcast is great, I’ve just finished the first season and am aching for more!!!!
This show lures you in with a serious and interesting mystery. As the show goes the mysteries spiral and the show becomes more humorous but also far more emotionally devastating.
If you’re worries that some big questions will go unanswered (because there are often many seasons between a question and its answer), stick with it. Nothing is ever forgotten.
Starts weird and just keeps going. You think it can’t get stranger, but it does. (Is it wrong that Leg is my favorite character? She’s the best worst.)
The beginning when Mike was actually playing the "game" was super intriguing, but once it moved into being more of science fiction espionage thriller, I started to lose interest. The mechanics of the show are inconsistent, and characters die, are brought back, and multiply constantly, eroding the stakes. It lost the plot a long time ago and there seems to be no sign of it ever stopping.
