One of my go to pods and love the vibe and way they tell the story, voices are pleasing and you feel like you sitting around the table with them after dinner
[Edited to add a note re a recent episode: Ben 'Jungian' is pronounced "Yungian" because Carl Jung's name is pronounced as "Yung". Googling that type of thing would be a good idea for you.]
As my title says, this type of true crime podcast – the kind with a married couple as co-hosts or more than one host in general – is not my cup of tea.
And....I've discovered, as with other duo podcasts, if you can make it past the first 5 or 6 minutes of inane chatter, it's not too bad.

I don’t usually leave reviews, but felt that I should hop on here so that everybody can see that this is a great podcast and has great reviews. The small amount of banter that there is is adorable. I love each of their voices for different reason. His is so low and calming and hers is just spunky as hell! I love this podcast!
I love this show and have been listening to it form the start but lately I have noticed that there are so many ads in each episode. Now I know that you can get add free but there are way to many gambling adds now and it’s really disappointing. But other than that keep up the good work Ben and Nicole I love the show and the cases you guys choose.
So I’ve never wanted to listen to true crime before. The depravity of some humans isn’t something I wanted to know about. Ben and Nicole have sucked me in. We listened to some of these episodes on a camping trip and even my two oldest kids (23 and 20) are addicted. Thank you for the great story telling! And thank you for not focusing so hard on the bad guys and giving them their spotlight more than needed. I can’t wait to hear more!!

The format often blends interviews, narration, and public records to illuminate motives, timelines, and courtroom outcomes, occasionally balancing dark subject matter with humor and candid reactions.
