It was a quiet morning in Surrey, British Columbia, on the 10th of December, 2014. A woman living in a quiet cul-se-sac heard a knock on her front door. She opened it up to find a woman there she didn’t recognise. She stank of alcohol, and asked her ... more
On the morning of the 18th of November, 1987, a brown Ford van pulled up to the ferry terminal in Victoria, British Columbia. Inside were two teenagers. They were heading to Seattle to pick up a furnace. It was supposed to be a simple overnight trip…... more

Who Killed Misty Copsey? is a gripping podcast series from ID, especially for us True Crime enthusiasts. I have been binge listening to the season now that it has been released in full.

Just scrolling through the episodes and looking at the graphics for each, I can say that I’m disappointed but not surprised. There are entirely too many missing and murdered black and brown people for this series to overwhelming focus on white stories. No thanks..
The attention to detail in the editing of the show is just not up to par with a show that I would pay a subscription fee for. I’ve listened to ~30 episodes now and the facts and storytelling are great but every episode it seems like, there’s a repeated sentence or the host trips over her words. The recording itself is clearly high quality but when you fumble over a word and don’t bother to re-record, it’s very distracting. There’s also a lot of signs of hesitation. It’d be worthwhile to take ano... more
Morbidology is one of my favourite Podcasts. Emily’s Northern Irish accent is so smooth and captivates you from beginning to end.
A lot of these crimes are ones I have not previously known of, but she lends a voice to the families and loved ones with empathy and respect.
Highly recommend. 10/10. Love from, Australia.
As a northern Irish listener I find the podcast very hard to follow with the slow cadence and transatlantic lit. Love the content and level of detail but unfortunately cannot comfortably listen as the same words are pronounced differently throughout.
Emily’s voice and accent don’t bother me but her political bias does. We are constantly getting political division shoved down our throats daily every direction we turn so I’m not willing to listen to it needlessly peppered throughout a victims. I get enough of it on the news, Facebook and instagram so I don’t need it on my true crime podcasts as well. In her most recent episode on Charlene Downes you can hear the distain in her voice when reading a comment made by the victims mother as the opin... more
