My favorite thing about this show is that it is just a resurgence of the lost art of conversation. We aren’t being talked at, we are learning about people and worlds right along with Brett. It’s endlessly engaging and entertaining, even without any prior knowledge or interest in the subject matter!
Real Review: more
Remember when Triumph the Insult Comic Dog would go around saying that about everything? Simpler times. This podcast is NOT one of those things for me to poop on. In fact, I would actively go out of my way to NOT poop on this podcast because I like it a lot. Like, really a lot. I guess you could call it a podcast for me to poop OFF. Ok. Bye bye.
Caught up to the episodes and I've got to say that I'm learning a few things along with Brett. In any case his interview style is engaging and he does a great job at keeping his guests on topic so that they can really share as much as they want. The conversations are natural and the podcast is really pleasant to listen to- right up my alley.
Brett, the show’s host, is a friend of mine. We went to undergrad and grad school together. The bulk of our friendship now is mostly lovingly insulting each other on social media, so, I was just going to leave some snarky, inside jokes on a 5-star review and call it good. more
