The police suspect one man in this community but they can’t make a charge stick and he refuses to leave, becoming the embodiment of everyone's unsettled nerves. A good podcast. The Irish Police Force at the time appeared hopelessly inept. Marie Farrell was a serial liar intent on being involved with no consideration for whom she impacted. The French trial of Ian Bailey was an absolute farce laden with bias and injustice. Ian Bailey deserved better. A good man he might not have been, but a murderer it is doubtful. The music, the interviews and the way it is directed and put together. The team behind it should be really proud of their work. Absolutely well done and thanks for your efforts. Brilliant.
Bailey’s now passed, and while the journalists did their part in providing a thorough retelling —including other possible angles not pursued further by garda’s investigation— it seems this case and the people involved in, it just want to go back to their corners for good.

This is a shining example of how good a true crime investigative journalism podcast can be. They are extremely fair, explore all angles, and have excellent access to not only the people involved but the reports and information. What really sets this podcast apart from others is how immersed you can get in it without being interrupted by monetization money grab ads every few minutes. It really helps with the continuity.
