郑成功，福建泉州府南安石井乡人（今福建南安东），是我国历史上杰出的民族英雄。明朝末年，朝廷腐败无能，荷兰侵略者趁机霸占了台湾，台湾人民不堪其扰，英勇反抗，但遭到荷兰侵略者的镇压。为了驱逐荷兰殖民者，建立抗清根据地，郑成功决心收复台湾。1661年三月，郑成功率领25000名将士，直取台湾岛。台湾人民得知郑军攻入，大喜过望，纷纷提供情报、物资，支援郑军作战，狠狠地打击了荷兰侵略者。荷兰侵略者遭到惨败，不敢应战。他们一面偷偷派人去搬救兵，一面派使者到郑军大营求和，郑成功丝毫不为所动，喝退荷兰使者。郑成... more
此事件发生在宋朝靖康年间，故有“靖康之变”之称。宋宣和七年（1125）十月，金太宗完颜晟以宋廷收纳辽降将张觉为借口，兵分东、西两路南下攻宋。宋徽宗惶恐之下，传位给太子赵桓（即钦宗），自为太上皇，改元靖康。钦宗在抵抗金军的同时，仍准备投降。靖康元年，金军围攻开封。宋钦宗求和，金军退兵。十一月，金完颜过斡率东、西两路会合并攻打开封城，开封失守，钦宗请降。靖康二年四月，金军俘徽宗、钦宗和宗室、后妃、部分臣僚，以及教坊乐工、技艺工匠、倡优内侍等数千人北去。北宋王朝至此灭亡。
岳飞是南宋抗金名将，他率领 “岳家军”多次打败金兵， 建立了赫赫战功。然而正当抗金斗争走向胜利的时候，宋高宗和权臣秦桧抗金的决心却一下子土崩瓦解。他们怕抗金力量的强大会威胁自己的统治，于是向金求和。岳飞还被宋高宗以12道金牌急令班师回朝。1141年，宋高宗解除了岳飞、韩世忠等人的兵权，与金讲和。秦桧等人为彻底实现控制军队和压制主战派的目的，更是加紧筹划陷害岳飞的罪恶行动。这年十月，岳飞、岳云被骗入狱。十二月，宋高宗、秦桧终于以“莫须有”的罪名，在风波亭中毒杀了岳飞，岳云也随即被斩首。
宋太祖赵匡胤（927～976），涿州（今河北省涿州）人，公元960年，他发动陈桥兵变，建立宋朝。赵匡胤靠发动兵变夺得政权，也就很不放心自己的部下，但他不愿像刘邦那样诛杀功臣，便采取了一种新的安置功臣的办法。建隆二年（961年）七月，赵匡胤宴请功臣宿将，席间，宋太祖说： “我当上皇帝，全靠你们。可当了皇帝以后，却整夜不能安睡。”大将石守信等人忙问其故。宋太祖答道：“列位固无异志，但若部下有贪图富贵之人， 有朝一日也强将黄袍加身，你们不想当皇帝也不行了。”石守信等人惶恐地请太祖指一条生路。太祖便委婉... more
