Cured my mommy issues
What’s cuter than hearing moms articulate how much they love their children? This. This is cuter. That’s because this is a podcast of moms gushing on their kids, interviewed by a heartwarming daughter and mom duo, (the daughter being standup comedian/comedy writer Beth Stelling!) Even when I’m not familiar with the interviewee’s son or daughter, I always get a hoot and a cozy heart from hearing all the stories of childhood from a mom’s perspective. The bonus is, after you hear how much a mom lov... more
I’ve always loved when podcasters do an episode interviewing their Mom, so this podcast is right up my alley. Beth and her mom Diane have a very sweet relationship with each other, and there’s something so endearing about hearing non-famous moms be interviewed about their famous children. Their stories about their children are so funny and often make me see the kids in a different light. Every episode I’ve listened to has been great. I particularly liked Ron Funches mom.
Mrs. DuVall was my music teacher and a friend of my grandpa which makes everything 10 times funnier
