小腸細菌過度增生（SIBO）會導致脹氣、腹部膨脹與消化不良。過量攝取益生菌、纖維或蔬菜，反而會滋養小腸細菌，加重不適。胃酸不足會降低對幽門桿菌的抑制能力，增加胃癌風險，也影響微量元素吸收（鋅、鉀、鎂、氯等）。改善方法包括適量補充酸性食物（話梅、梅精、醋）以刺激胃酸、用高麗菜汁或腸胃修復營養品修復黏膜，避免長期依賴強效胃藥（PPI），並保持放鬆心情、慢慢咀嚼與均衡攝取天然蔬菜，以促進胃腸健康和情緒調節。
