    Its really moving to hear to the voices of WWI. Hearing what they went through and how they talk about it often brings me to tears. I highly recommend if you have any interest in WWI or any history in general.

  • Essential listening. Check out the Imperial War Museum series of the same name.

    If it isn’t already, then this series & the IWM series of the same name should be required listening for schools & colleges. There’s nothing quite like hearing first-hand knowledge of the experiences of all of these brave men & women, both military & civil. more

  • Absolutely Wonderful

    This was probably the best historical documentary I have ever heard. The voices and stories of so many veterans was very moving. I would like to find this on CD somewhere for home listening. A wonderful job through and through by the BBC!
