Hey guys! I love your show and your real-life approach to CrossFit. I’d love to get your advice on how I can become an rx athlete?
I am a 37 year old mom of two young kids, and I workout at home. I have been doing CrossFit on and off since my mid-twenties. I’m what I’d consider a strong “scaled” athlete, and I’ve never quite been able to reach that “RX” level. Between having my two kids I gained a substantial amount of weight and stopped working out for a few years. Over the last 2.5 years I h... more
Of the 10 fitness principles, tell me why strength isn’t the foundation for all others. If it is, then strength should be primary and the focus the majority of the time. You cannot balance without strength. You have no power without strength. You cannot have endurance without strength. Etc..
I would like to hear your thoughts.
I appreciate the advice I get from VNR. The conversations are insightful and informative. The range of topics is excellent. I feel this show is both relatable and inspiring.
My wife and I look forward to your podcasts and listen to them as we do low grade movement (walking) and zone 2 cardio. We are avid cross-fitters and my wife also coaches (level 1). I need to renew my level 1. CrossFit has profoundly impacted our lives for the better. We love the choice of topics and the guests you have on your show. A thought perhaps for some future guests? Casey and Calley Means authors of Good Energy and part of a group of founders of Levels? Keep up the wonderful work!
Since I was in Aviation during my time in the US Marine Corps I never saw this personally but I always heard you could burn C4 or hit it with a hammer but you couldn’t do both it at the same time. I have heard both Pat and Boz separately and they are good. However together they are absolutely informative and inspiring to hear.
Thanks
