  • Why host a podcast if you don’t want anyone else to finish a thought?

I wanted to love this podcast and give 5 stars. BUT. My biggest pet peeve is when a person interrupts. As much good info as Sevan has, he interrupts EVERYONE which is not only distracting but makes the conversation indistinguishable to the listener. I’m giving 3 stars bc I like most of the content & discussion, I just hate the delivery.

  • Keeping it real

Love it. Sevan isn’t afraid to say what everyone is thinking. He just says it how he sees it.

CrossFit's CEO Speaks to Affiliates | Souza's Show
Q: What are the two or three specific changes you think you need to make to how the company is run/structured to improve things going forward?
Bruce emphasizes clarifying CrossFit's cornerstone as an educational training business, focusing on media as the engine, and using data to guide decisions. He also stresses better alignment between HQ, affiliates, and coaches, and expanding tools to enable data-driven storytelling and education.
Colten Mertens | Syndicate Recap
Q: Colten, why did you pick Syndicate, knowing you had a victory at NorCal?
I chose Syndicate because Knoxville is a manageable travel hub, it allows finishing out my camp near Proven, and the travel logistics fit well with my prep, making it easier to stay consistent rather than starting from scratch elsewhere.
Abbie Domit | Games Bound
Q: What does resting and pacing look like for you before the Games, and how does that affect performance?
She emphasizes balancing rest and training, avoiding over-amping too early, and focusing on sustainable preparation so she arrives ready rather than burned out.
Abbie Domit | Games Bound
Q: When you qualified for Legends, did you immediately know you had your ticket to the Games, or did you need to see the math?
She was confident she qualified and looked for the final standings, but needed a little confirmation, relying on her coach for the final assessment.
Abbie Domit | Games Bound
Q: What path led you from modeling to CrossFit and eventually to the Games?
Abbie explains she was in a difficult phase, and CrossFit gave her structure, purpose, and a way to channel anger and energy into something constructive, ultimately helping her become a competitive athlete.
