What’s the worst decision in Beatles history? Some might say it’s John’s “bigger than Jesus” remark, or letting “Magical Mystery Tour” air in black & white on the BBC. And yet, as decided by the good folks at Disney+/Apple/Calderstone/Zaappderstone, ... more

Who is listening on this Candy? There's very little substance. So those wanting Beatles content have so many great options (not this). The intent seems to be to amuse listeners either morning radio gags and bits. But does anyone like that any more? I guess. But these guys don't even seem to be amused by their schtick. The forced laughter is a tip off that no one including the hosts are amused.
They’re funny (in a goofy, silly way) that may not appeal to everyone. But their show is fun and they’ve got heart.
They genuinely love The Beatles.

This show is an absolute ripper. Tony and T.J bring a witty vibe to celebrating the Fab Four, and it’s clear from the get-go they’re not taking anything too seriously. It took me a couple of episodes to fully get into their schtick, but once I did, I was hooked.
The production is top notch, with Casey adding brilliant touches and fun audio bits that really bring the show to life. What sets these blokes apart is how much they really love The Beatles – you can hear it in every episode. I’d take... more

The show centers on deep, often humorous discussions of The Beatles and related solo projects, filtered through a Gen X perspective. Episodes frequently explore track-by-track analysis, production choices, and historical context, while peppered with Chicago-area culture, pop-culture trivia, and playful banter. A standout trait is the hosts' genuine affection for the material paired with sharp, improvisational humor and a strong community feel around fan history, local institutions, and era-specific anecdotes. Notable for its cinematic soundbits, insider references, and a steady mix of scholarly context and goofy riffs, it's likely to appeal to devoted beatleheads who enjoy entertaining, voice-driven conversations with a local flavor and a p... more
