Thanks so much for seeing it through to the end with me!
Funny and definitely worth it w/ Brendan & Natasha but after the divorce in Season 5B Natasha becomes annoyingly sjw/gender hypocrit and just monotone mis-quotes each show as a recap.
Season 1-5A = 4.5*
Season 5B = 0.5*
Bald Move coverage = 5*
I started listening to Unspoiled when I was looking for a Wire recap, and then Ted Lasso, and I really liked it. Then I started listening to the Breaking Bad Unspoiled, and honestly, I wish I didn't know that Natasha got with Brendan while engaged to another guy and then left Brendan for a fan. It makes it really hard to listen to the episodes with Brendan, cause she's so critical of him for no reason. It's just kinda painful
brendan rants about how he isnt racist or homophobic, then drops the F slur
I’d like to give props to Natasha for sticking it out and being awesome. It really is a shame Brendan didn’t stick around for the end, but it was his loss. It ended up being a better show with Nina. Kind of sounds like Brendan was either cheating or emotionally cheating with how sudden things were but Natasha did an exceptional job continuing on with the podcast. Sad she and Nina didn’t do Better Call Saul afterwards
Interesting in a bystander way. Listed as clean pods early on but some heavy language and insinuations throughout. By the midpoint it sounds like they watched ahead in the series but were trying to still sound unspoiled.
ETA- Once the new cohost joined it became better. Added a star
So I found this podcast from 8 years ago because I decided to watch BB again and thought it would also be fun to listen to each episode of this podcast as I went. It’s weird because almost all the way thru, it’s hosted by a married couple Natasha and Brendon. But halfway thru the final season of BB, they get divorced so then it’s Natasha and Nina Perez. Funny because the podcast ended up being better without Brendon. But regardless, each episode is too long and they go on too many tangents that ... more
Brendon is rly sexist and it’s annoying. They both have a lot of white guilt. Also brendon dropping the f slur…..YIKES
The guy on this cast is an idiot who thought Clarence darrow was the attorney in the movie “the mockingbird who died” im done 2 episodes wont waste anymore time on it.
I was really looking forward to hearing this about one of the most iconic shows of all time. This husband and wife review team were unlistenable.
Natasha is intolerable, incredibly narcissistic, it doesn’t surprise me in the least that these two got a divorce.
Love it. You guys need to start one about Ozark on Netflix!
I am currently listening to 3 unspoiled podcasts. Breaking Bad, Justified, and Lost. I have seen all 3 shows all the way through. It is awesome to be able to listen to Natasha get a fresh perspective on a show I loved the first time around. The hosts always dig deeper into the shows then I did on my inital watch and make my memories of them even more enjoyable.
Not worth it
Very thorough & detailed episode rundown with decent commentary from hosts. But the female hosts language is atrocious. Definitely loves the f-bomb. Can be a turn off at times.
Okay, okay, so here's a confession: I haven't listened to Natasha's podcasts about "Breaking Bad," so in some ways, this review is totally spurious, BUT! BUT!!! I have been deep into Game of Thrones territory and discovered UNspoiled only halfway through A Dance with Dragons. I am looking forward with great pleasure to listening not only to the rest of ASOIAF with Natasha and Brandon, but eagerly anticipating Natasha's reaction to the nefarious deeds of my favorite chemistry teacher turned me... more
