Love the pod šš¼
As a musician, I love hearing anybody talk about rock bands. As a guitar player, I love hearing people talk the way I think regarding John Frusciante. As a breathing human, I love the fun commentary and guessing the country every single week. The show is a five out of five, much like the album By the Way!
This is such a joy to listen to. These guys know and love the Chili Peppers. The brothers (cup) have a healthily irreverent love for the band, so theyāre not afraid to get critical when itās warranted. Seems the same could be said of their love for each other š
I was just looking for a review of āUnlimited Loveā, but what I got was so much better. This is an absolute goldmine for anyone craving some Chili Peppers chatter. Their scope is admirably ambitious, covering not just albums but b-side... more
So glad to have found this show this past week, in whatās been a supercharged and exciting April 2022 for a RHCP fan as big as I amā¦so naturally, I was searching their name to make sure I had covered all the ground on the various new interviews they each have in places and THIS popped up and Iām sure glad it did. Iāve been longing to find people I can chat about the new record with, track by track. These dudes feel like my friends, helps to have that feeling. So thank yāall
Omgosh you guys. I have one of those jobs where we have to pretend to be busy even when thereās no work, and Iām tired of all my other podcasts. I looked up the Chili Peppers on Apple podcasts expecting not to find anything. But holy crap! This is amazing!! Iāve only heard two episodes so far, but I get every single reference. Itās amazing! And your accents!!! This American is loving it. Now I have something to keep me distracted until April 1st.

A twice-weekly show where two brothers explore the Red Hot Chili Peppers' catalog and related projects with commentary that mixes technical music talk, historical context, and humorous banter. Recent episodes balance track-by-track breakdowns, production and arrangement analysis, and host-led debates about what holds up across eras, often supported by guest contributors who provide additional perspectives. The tone blends enthusiasm with playful irreverence, beer-fueled camaraderie, and a willingness to consider fan and live-performance moments alongside studio minutiae. Noteworthy is the duo's ability to weave deep, nerdy insight with accessible storytelling, creating a community vibe that appeals to both hardcore fans and casual listeners... more
