I had high hopes for this podcast. Now I’m not saying the narrator doesn’t just read what he receives which is presented as true events by whoever sends them in, however some stories have way too much of a ‘horror movie’ feel to them and are fantastical, to the point I can only assume many are complete fiction written by hobbyists.
A lot of it sounds more like fan-fiction.
And my word are some of them and drawn out. Not helped by the narrator’s reading-voice.

Another issue is the the repetitive style of every . Single. Episode. Sooo much repeating of words and the self pro-mo is just overkill .
I used to enjoy this podcast, unfortunately it got very suspect in regards to the ‘stories’ - I’m pretty sure they’re fake or people... more
Listeners’ stories are often intriguing but not always succinct listening. Here Kevin Eustice presents their stories and other paranormal events from the past with subtle delivery, perhaps by the light of a crackling fireplace in the drawing room of a Victorian home. Listen in the dark if you dare.
