Listen to this show if for no other reason than to hear the next generation's infectous optimism convinced their art can change the world. And maybe it will.
Host West Givens eagerly interjects guest comments with a few too many "uh-huh"s, but that only knocks my rating down 1/8th of a star.
Real talk: I would love if there were more links to the student films his guests namedrop and, constructive criticism, guest names should probably be frontloaded in episode titles.
I've listened to every episode of this podcast and West is finally starting to grow and get at least a portion of the views he deserves. This podcast is excellent. If you aren't listening, then you're missing out.
West Givens is an amazing host with a podcast unlike anything I’ve ever listened to before. His questions and banter with his guests will keep you engaged throughout. 10/10 experience
west is one of the most talented and hardworking people I’ve ever had the pleasure of knowing. he does a such a good job of not making listeners feel like dummies if they don’t know anything about film. you can tell from just one episode that he and whatever guest he has on are truly passionate about what they do! genuinely good content from a genuinely good boy!!! LISTEN TO IT!!!!
As someone who is interested in film making, editing, and other creative mediums as an outsider, this podcast is an amazing way to learn about the multifaceted world of content creators without the pomp that often plagues film podcasts. West and his guests are more than willing to give hilarious anecdote after anecdote and they never fail to make me laugh.
This podcast never fails to make me laugh and inspire me. It’s cool to listen to other artistic creators and it’s also just hilarious. 12/10
A refreshing take on film making, that isn’t too pretentious. Helps explain the ins and outs of film to the layman.
Love West so much. I've always enjoyed his opinions and listening to him speak about them even if we completely disagreed. I've definitely recommended this to friends. You'll get a full 10/10 when I finally get featured.
Great content from an original creator!

As an avid fan of a variety of different podcasts, I can say with total confidence that Tungsten Originals is one of the most entertaining, surprising, and holistic podcasts I’ve ever come across. The host, West Givens (along with numerous other co-hosts that make appearances in different episodes, is a skilled interviewer who takes a genuine interest in his guests, and has the mental and emotional range to discuss not only topics related to filmmaking, but also the intricacies of life itself.
