A great podcast. Well worth a listen. Alister is a relaxed host, putting his guests at ease
I particularly enjoyed the chat with Simon Nicol. Heading off to listen to Fairport Convention immediately 😊
This is a great podcast for music fans - Alister has a genuine bond with his guests, and whether they are guitar players or makers, it’s the pure love of music that comes through. Fun stories and relaxed chats, it’s just a really great podcast!
I’m not really a podcast listener but I’ve really enjoyed the first two episodes.
I’ve been a Turin Brakes fan since the Optimist so this was a great insight and Patrick Eggle makes amazing stuff and seemed like a really intelligent and decent chap… Until I can buy a leftie Forty Three I’ll have to just listen for now.
Really interesting interview with Olly from Turin Brakes. I’m looking forward to the upcoming interviews with more musicians and some guitar makers. I highly recommend this if you have any interest in music and/or instrument making
Nice relaxed musical conversations from my favourite guitar builder! Take it easy...with Alistair Atkin!
Just listened to the first episode and I can’t wait to hear the rest - Alister is a really good interviewer and asks insightful questions whilst allowing the guest to talk. Looking forward to hearing more (with a bit more guitar geek talk perhaps!)
