This is my favorite podcast by far. Dr Lange and Ms Tracey do a great job discussing and explaining the latest medical research. They explain in under 15 minutes what would take me hours to figure out. And they do a great job giving us the most current and objective (which is difficult to find) and informed info about Covid. I highly recommend this podcast.
This podcast takes all the most important studies every week and presents them in an understandable way. The hosts discuss the limitations and applications of the studies
Out of the 20 or so podcasts I subscribe to, this is without doubt my favorite. The topics are always interesting and informative. Rick and Elizabeth are great hosts and they are well-informed and compassionate. I am not a medical professional but I love medical science, and I always learn from each episode. I'm very glad that they restarted the show after Rick's move to El Paso (where I grew up).
Thankfully found this after they moved from johns Hopkins URL.
Bite sized info from across the medical knowledge spectrum... Fast paced and always interesting. Feel smarter after I listen!

Two seasoned medical hosts survey recent peer‑reviewed studies and medical headlines in short, clinician‑friendly episodes. They routinely translate trial data into practical takeaways for clinicians and informed listeners, balancing clinical nuance with real‑world implications. Notable strengths include concise, evidence‑driven analysis across topics like cancer screening, cardiovascular therapy, and public health measures, plus a willingness to critique the readiness of emerging tools before wide adoption. The format suits professionals seeking quick, credible updates without the fluff, and the duo's breadth—spanning translational medicine to health policy—helps attract a broad, research‑mocused audience.
