Entertaining, educational and easy to understand
He is an intriguing storyteller, but his crutch of using the word “Well” in every single sentence began to drive me crazy. Often times he uses that word multiple times within the same sentence, deploying it as one would a comma. Maybe it’s just me, but it began to wear me down as I listened to his storytelling and soon enough, I found myself fixated on his insistent and constant use of this crutch word.
I've only listened to one episode, but I'm hooked. I started listening to it in preparation for studying a classics module—excellent preparation, but much more than that. The host outlines the story in a fun way that helps immerse the listener in the classical world.
