Mockery seems like a fitting name for a podcast dedicating to mocking others, making wildly uneducated takes and generally spreading nonsense with very little reflection. Any critique is met with ”ha ha we are only joking mate!” - but when you have a substantial following there simply needs to be a certain standard to what you share, and to me that standard is too low. But if you want to listen to brain dead circlejerking then I guess this is the podcast for you.
Funny inside talk about a sport 99.9% of us will never attempt but inspires short runs, bikes and swims around the neighborhood. Love the oddly specific humor and discussion about travel, friends, flat whites and outright gossip lol all in the context of triathlon.
The real star of the podcast is Tom who’s Professional triathlon career maybe won’t be as good as his triathlon media career when he retires, Tom knows the questions to ask and can put any information over to the ordinary Joe in the street with no problems. A glittering career in Tri media awaits if he is just more consistent with YouTube and Pocasts. As for Joe I can’t work out if he’s pretending to be thick or just really is ?? 🤩
I love these guys. They are truly hilarious. I only wish they would be more consistent with their episodes. Sometimes we have to wait more than a month for the next episode. Keep up the honest conversations. You guys are amazing.
Real people doing really good things, love the attitude, the banter and honesty. Keep it up guys. BTW, if you ever want to do a handbike challenge like u did with gcn, let me know. I wonder who would come out on top. Jo or Tom
