  • Shooting from the hip

Trent's background in agricultural keeps him grounded. Most Americans do not know where their food or energy comes from. Or, how it is produced. They just pick it off the shelf or plug it in. America is more technologically and environmentally advanced than any other western nation. You would'nt know it by the media or educational industrial complex. Americans like Trent are the most vilified by them. Keep to Trent and Rural Route Radio listening to the heartbeat of what makes America the larges... more

  • Ya know

Whoever the sheep farmer was on the Nov. 15th 2021 show needs to stop saying 'ya know'. Very lazy way to pause while you are talking and makes it sound like you 'ya know' don't know what you are talking about.

Rural Route Radio June 11, 2026 Rebecca Cunningham with vital information that has been hidden about DMSO
Q: What is DMSO?
DMSO stands for dimethyl sulfoxide. It is a naturally occurring compound found in small amounts in humans, trees, the ocean, and air, and it has properties that allow it to interact with cells and tissues in ways that can aid preservation, healing, and drug delivery. The discussion emphasizes its safety profile, routes of administration, and potential therapeutic applications.

Rural Route Radio May 18, 2026 Hank Vogler weighs in on USDA investigation into lamb imports and potential tarriffs from New Zealand.
Q: What do you think about this as a US lamb producer?
Hank notes that this has happened before and that tariff or quota actions in past decades raised prices and disrupted contracts, but he emphasizes the need for balance and cautions about unintended consequences on small producers while acknowledging how markets swing with supply, demand, and foreign competition.
Rural Route Radio May 4, 2026 Hank Vogler is still fighting freedom and understands the demise of nation on the back of education.
Q: How do constitutional rights factor into your daily life and farming operations?
Constitutional rights are portrayed as essential protections against government overreach, with emphasis on the Second Amendment and the broader Bill of Rights as bulwarks for personal and economic freedom on the land.
Rural Route Radio May 4, 2026 Hank Vogler is still fighting freedom and understands the demise of nation on the back of education.
Q: What is your view on DEI and its impact on society and employment in agriculture?
DEI, as presented, is seen as pervasive and disruptive to merit-based advancement, with concerns that it prioritizes identity over skills and could undermine traditional work ethics and productivity.
