Recently found this podcast and it’s awesome. I never read Howard’s funny book adventures and it’s been a total blast discovering these fantastically weird comics. The hosts are great and their love of Howard is infectious. Cannot recommend this podcast and Howard the Duck comics enough.

I remember leaving the downtown Owatonna theater in August of ‘86 thinking I saw a weird but entertaining movie that had duck boobs. My Dad turned to me and said, “that was the worst movie I have ever seen.” I was crestfallen. My Dad didn’t care for this, why why? By the mighty powers of Siskel and/or Ebert, why? Okay I was 12, and I just saw boobs (albeit fowl ones) and I didn’t care what my Dad thought. I mean seriously, he liked Hee-Haw. more
