  • Thank you

I just wanted to thank you for coming back. This is my favorite podcast. I have a question. Will y’all consider covering the DC Finest collections? Y’all already basically did the first volume on your old podcast.

  • I’m So Late to the Party…

I’d originally left this review under the relatively inactive ‘Who’s Who’ feed, but seeing as how the same great personalities are still heavily involved elsewhere, I wanted to re-issue the review to the whole network (and the sentiments truthfully go to Shag, Rob, and all their cohosts/contributors)—- see below:

Well, I'm astronomically late to this entire party, but l'd be remiss if I didn't offer up an obligatory rave review. Shag and Rob have offered up a podcast—... more

  • Makes the listener want to join in!

Just finished listening to the Ted Lasso episode and it was fantastic. Listening to the three share their thoughts and adoration for the show and characters made me not only want to watch the the AppleTV show all over again, but had me wishing I was right there in the room with them, joining in the conversation. That’s the highest compliment I can give!

  • Found my joy

I’ve been listening to the FW Network for years. I came for the comic book talk, stayed for the movie and TV conversations, and found more and more great stuff to listen to and enjoy. This is a great group of people.

This is a great group of podcasts. It wasn’t until recently though that it really clicked with me just what it was that I loved about coming back time & time again. I ALWAYS have a smile on my face while listening. Always. Doesn’t matter how I felt when I pressed play, when the sho... more

Fantastic Pour Episode 19 - The Beast and Blue Vodka Cocktail
Q: You've got a seven-hero super team with the Beast as a member. Is he with the X-Men, Avengers or Defenders? And name the other six members of your team.
Beast belongs with the Avengers in my lineup, and my core team would be Beast, Wonder Man, Captain America, Hawkeye, Thor, Iron Man, and the Wasp, with a fond interest in including other favorites for variety.
Peace Bound and Down - Wonder Woman Vol. 2, Issue 18
Q: What is your favorite creation myth for the world or universe in any medium, and why?
Jarrod discusses the Legion of Super-Heroes and the idea that procreation on distant planets seeds diverse populations with powers, blending in-universe lore with his own take on cosmic creation myths.
JSA in the 90s – Matt Wagner and John K. Snyder III Interview on Dr. Mid-Nite
Q: How on earth do you pronounce Dr. Cross's first name?
Peter is the official pronunciation (Dutch spelling) though the creators note it can be pronounced various ways; they chose Peter but acknowledge it often gets mispronounced.
Cheers Cast 9.25: Home Malone
Q: All right, Natalie, big picture. What did you think about this one?
I think it's a wonderful ensemble episode that displays the show's strength in juggling multiple subplots and character dynamics, especially the Woody-Kelly romance and the Sam-Family dynamics, while also delivering sharp humor and heartfelt moments.
Batman Knightcast 51: To See the Batman
Q: What makes this prose Batman story stand out within the Batman Chronicles run?
Its Photorealist-style storytelling and a teen narrator create a grounded, emotionally intimate look at Gotham, using a non-traditional format to explore coming-of-age themes and the idea that external hero-worship can be replaced by genuine human connection.
