  • Great guidance for financial planners

I’ve been listening to the TRAP pack for a few years now.

This period has also represented my move from paraplanner to planner.

The TRAP pack have been pivotal for me to “make the leap” to advising.

  • Authentic & Accurate

I’ve been listening to TRAP for the best part of two years now, and it’s genuinely got me through countless long drives to client meetings and periods where I wasn’t entirely sure where I was heading in this brilliant profession.

I briefly spoke with Alan towards the end of 2023 about a career decision, and he mentioned listening to TRAP. From that point on, it became a constant. I can confidently say the four gents have played a real part in shaping my career, helping me move from being a rest... more

  • Helped prompt a career change

After over two decades in fund management, I am now well on track in making the switch into financial planning and benefited from the help that the Verve Foundation provides.

My decision was in part influenced by listening to the back catalogue of TRAP. Credit and enormous thanks to all. The pod is irreverent, amusing and informative in equal measure.

For me, the good humour, humility and candid opinions of Carl bring balance to proceedings. Long may that continue.

  • Irreverent, outspoken, essential listening

Love your work gents. As a relatively recent Trappist - Ep(iphany).71 - I was initially a bit skeptical, having enjoyed Nick’s and Alan’s various LinkedIn rants over the years I assumed this might be a watered-down, homogenised protein shake of a podcast but, to my great relief, you’re all just as opinionated, irreverent and outspoken asI had hoped. The content is excellent with some very pertinent views and practical take-aways in every episode. There needs to be a new category on the CII site... more
