  • Irreverent, outspoken, essential listening

Love your work gents. As a relatively recent Trappist - Ep(iphany).71 - I was initially a bit skeptical, having enjoyed Nick’s and Alan’s various LinkedIn rants over the years I assumed this might be a watered-down, homogenised protein shake of a podcast but, to my great relief, you’re all just as opinionated, irreverent and outspoken asI had hoped. The content is excellent with some very pertinent views and practical take-aways in every episode. There needs to be a new category on the CII site... more

  • Amazing for all advisers, but invaluable for the younger cohort

As a 25-year-old in my second year of providing Independent Financial Advice, this podcast has been an invaluable source of insight, practical wisdom, and motivation. The four lads are truly among the profession’s best and I’ve enjoyed listening since day one.

Each episode provides insights, or something you can use to improve your service / business, or simply a good laugh - either from their banter or their bickering.

  • Been a listener since EP1. I am not in the finance game but love the podcast.

I am an index fund investor who has an interest in the financial world and sorry Carl but I want to retire early (FIRE) as I want to be able to effect change in the world and not have to rely on a payslip or doing things I don't want to do.

Andy you are responsible for a lot of my education about buying the great companies of the world then I found out you stole all your knowledge from Nick. Alan's story's rule😂
