Love the show and that you guys put out a lot of episodes as I drive a lot for work and I’m always running out of stuff to listen to. Love the variety in the show about all the different things you talk about and the listener questions. Can’t wait until you put out a tower topics hat as I need a new hat when going to Kings Island.

  • The Best Kings Island Podcast

There are many podcasts out there that talk about the amusement industry as a whole but this one is special because it is only about Kings Island. The stories are so interesting with the history and current events at the park. Every episode is well crafted, curated, and full of good and sometimes behind the scene information along with a productive conversation. Both hosts have such extensive knowledge and love for Kings Island and it really shows. I wish more parks had a dedicated podcast for t... more

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Inside One of the Industry’s Most Anticipated New Attractions of 2026
Q: Why do coaster projects switch parks or move between operators during development?
Factors include shifting market priorities, changing revenue expectations, corporate strategy, geographic balance for passholder distribution, and logistical considerations like topography and municipal approvals; sometimes a project moves to a park where the park needs a headline attraction more urgently.
Hey Boo-Boo… Yogi Bear Is Back Near Kings Island
Q: What is the reasoning behind the timing and location choice for this Jellystone Park, given Cincinnati's strong Kings Island connection?
The decision leverages a historic relationship with Kings Island and the Cincinnati market, using Camp Cedar's proximity and the strong local tourism ecosystem to offer a complementary, entertainment-focused experience that benefits both the Jellystone Park brand and Kings Island visitors.
Hey Boo-Boo… Yogi Bear Is Back Near Kings Island
Q: How does Jellystone Park Cincinnati fit with the Kings Island experience, and is it intended to be an all-day attraction or a multi-day stay?
Trent Hershenson describes Jellystone Park as a destination that can be enjoyed on its own for a multi-day stay or combined with a Kings Island visit, thanks to shuttle service and a wide range of on-site attractions and activities that keep families engaged for two to three days.
Own a Piece of Boo Blasters on Boo Hill: Inside the Kings Island Prop Auction
Q: How would you feel if Kings Island re-themed smaller rides or rebranded elements as mini versions of bigger attractions if licensing changes became an issue?
The hosts suggest that while it would be unlikely, it's plausible as a strategic move to maintain park nostalgia without infringing on IP contracts, especially around anniversaries, hinting that be revisiting classic names could preserve fan interest without legal complications.
Park Mania 2026: Can Anyone Stop Kings Island?
Q: Who do you think is the biggest challenge to Kings Island this year as far as a repeat?
Andrew points to Epic Universe as a strong challenger, with additional potential from Holiday World and other perennial contenders.
